United Church Overseas Personnel, Bill and Karen Butt, are members of Oxford Presbytery. They currently serve in Mozambique. Bill and Karen are working with the Ecumenical Christian Council of Mozambique (CCM), our United Church partner there.  Karen is Education Consultant based at a Rehabilitation Centre for 30 girls age 5-13 whose parents have been lost in Mozambique's long civil war. Bill is Communications Consultant to the CCM.  

Bill and Karen moved to the city of Quelimane in north-central Mozambique in January 2003.
